BLah I regret buying this thing. I spent 350 bucks for it retail and the only game I played with it was Diablo 2. Sigh.. anyway, now that I'm actually using it for some 3d gaming im having some problems.
When I play Battlefield 1942 it runs fine at max settings (like I expect it to) for a while, but then it starts getting choppy and then it just gets too choppy to even play. With this in mind im thinking it's a heat problem.
I havent tried different drivers or anything because im not connected to the internet on that computer yet. I had some power supply issues in the past and im thinking that somehow it could have screwed with it a bit.
Anyway, before RMA'ing it im going to try different drivers and what not. But if it still fucks up im getting a new one. Also, I have overclocked it a little bit before (barely, then I changed it back to stock), Will they be able to detect that I did that? Will I be able to RMA it?
My question is when I touch the heatsink should it be scalding hot? I can keep my finger on it for like 5 seconds before it gets to burning me.
