Hi, i have the mx duo w/ the mx 700 and currently in games such as UT2k4 and D3 i have problems with the mouse not firing at all takes 2-3 clicks in order for me to shoot. Or that when holding it down it continues to fire until i mouseclick again. Does anyone know what can cause this is it software or do i have to RMA it.

ps using itouch 2.2

specs
win xp pro w/ sp1
nf7-s
athlon xp 2100
512 3200mb ram

Do you have any interference.... Stereo on radio, any other wireless objects, using WiFi. Things like that may interfere with the signal. Im guessing that Logitech was kind enough to test and retest the duo to make sure they dont interfere with eachother. At least thats what I hope seeing how I am ordering a set.
If there is no interference then it might be time to RMA, sorry I cant be of more help.

no i dont have anything on at all. The receiver is about a foot away from the mouse and there is nothing obstructing the view at all. so i guess i might have to RMA it :(

I have the cordless duo as well, but I don't think I've ever run into that. However, I can take a couple of guesses.

1. While the light might not be flashing, the batteries might need a charge. Since they're NiMH, you don't have to wait for them to completely discharge before recharging them. It might be that there just isn't quite enough juice to run hard.

2. You said the receiver is only about a foot from the mouse. Does that put the receiver near the monitor? The monitor could be messing with things.

3. Driver issue? I forget which versions of iTouch and MouseWare I have, so I don't know where 2.2 falls. Perhaps you need an update/reinstall of MouseWare.

i had the same problem..i think it becaus the mouse and keyboard are both connecting through the same receiver. so i just bought them sperately and ive never had any problems since. thats the only way i fixed it. i also had a problem with them..whenever i was playing a game and i was moving forward and then i wanted to strafe to the right and then strafe to the left id have to double tap the right strafe button and then tap the left strafe button and then hold the left strafe button in order to move in that direction(happened with any direction i moved in)...try buying the mouse and keyboard seperately so that they have their own receivers. hope things work out for you. ;)
