Problem regarding Mozilla Firebird

Whenever I downlaod a file in Firebird (version 0.7), and I click "save" to save the file in a specified folder, the file never shows up there (in the specified folder),

After I click save, a window comes up for like a tenth of a second and then dissapears, and i beleive this to be the download progress window, but i still cant find the file in the specified folder!

Please Help!

I just made the switch to Firebird and dont really know how to use it very well
