problem- LED/Status Light always on

the status light on my case has been continuously on for about a week now, even when there are no applications running in the task manager. could it be a virus or my hd is dying?
 
Depends. . . is your power light blinking on and off when you move large files?


j/k -- but do make sure that it's plugged into the right port. If you're not noticing any performance issues or odd noises, I wouldn't matter. Usually a beaming light is either a short or a mixed up plug..
