was installing a new keyboard, downloaded the new driver, installed it, re-booted ...
but then, it corrupted the keyboard drivers ... so now I cannot type my password to log in!!!

help !!!
any ideas?

no ideas out there???

problem is, I cannot even log into Windows Vista as it asks for my password ...
so I cannot get to the device manager!!!

and because I have a dual boot system (XP32 and Vista 64), the system restores are wiped after every boot :-(

System Restore. During boot, hit F8 to get the system restore menu and restore the machine (which includes drivers) to a date/time before you loaded the drivers. Simple fix. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/

Otherwise, plug in another keyboard (generic USB is fine) that should load its own in-box drivers (hopefully) avoiding the keyboard driver you've loaded.
