Problem formatting 16gb CF

I'm having problems formatting my new 16GB CF card.
When ever I try to format it, it formats only to 7.38gb.
I tried it on two different computers with the same result.
Both were running vista.
Thanks.
 
weird, I have had 0 problems formatting it. How about formatting it in your camera? If you cannot format the full 16GB, you might need to update the firmware.
 
Did you format it in your camera first? I have heard about certain models not seeing anything larger than 8gb cards (in your case the 7.38gb is about right). How are you trying to format in Vista? Have you tried it on an XP machine?
