Printing problems with HP1115

I have been having a printing problem with my HP1115, that at first happened only with Acrobat, but now is also happening with Word and graphic programs.

What happens are lines where the half upper parts disappears, it's not printed.

I already run HP's Scan Doctor, which checked and updated the driver, then printed a test page perfectly. Then went on to print a page of mine, and the error was still there.

Any clue on what might be happening and how to solve it?

I think I know what you mean. A pic/scan of the printed page would help.

Is this at the very top and bottom of the page?

Many printers are not able to print to the entire surface of a normal 8.5"x11" page.

Does it work if you print using another computer?

Printing is a effin' nightmare. I suggest you wipe all drivers. Uninstall, then do the following:

Windows Key+R

Copy and paste this: C:\Windows\System32\printui.exe /s /t2

Go to the Drivers pane

Delete

Select option "Remove driver and driver package"

And after that you reboot and reinstall it.

post a pic of the problem and try cleaning the print head
