Printer suggestions?

Basically printing alot of color documents. Is a laser printer best for this? Dont want to be buying 100's of ink cartridges.

A color laser is nice, but check out the cost of the refills to be sure this is the way for you.

Agreed. I have a color laser that (SAMSUNG CLP 510) was engineered to make SAMSUNG money and to cost more per page than an inkjet.

In short the default operation, the printer requires a $20 waste toner bottle several times a year. It refuses to print if it finds the waste toner bottle dirty at all. It prints less than 1/2 of the advertised pages per cartridge and then says the cartridge is empty even though it can be 1/2 full. When it says the cartridge is empty it refuses to print until you replace the cartridges..

However with ebay and the following link I have got this cost of usage way down:

I cut out a notch where the waste toner bottle is so that it never sees the status if the bottle. I also have created the programmer in the link above to reset my cartridges to 0 pages.

On a side note. You are talking about color documents. Not pictures? Color lasers aren't great with pictures.

Xerox solid ink printers are great too, faster than lasers and may be cheaper / page.
HP is my first choice for Color Lasers, since I own one and it has been great.
