I have an SFF system and the printer i have uses only Parallel conenctors...and i was wondering what most printers these days used to connect to a computer and also what is an alternative i could use for my SFF system?

You could get an adapter for USB<->Parrallel adapter for your printer (Radio Shack should have them still), or you could just get a USB printer.

USB and parrallel are it, for the average consumer. There's a handful of serial ones, but those are mainly for CAD systems nowadays. Some of the higher-end printers can have a built-in network print-server (connect via ethernet).
