does the torture test on prime95 stress the cpu or just ram? or both? thanks.
 
PRIME95 is a beautiful thing....it stresses your CPU soo much that you will see your temp jump almost 20 degrees C....it is a good way to check the stability of your system especially if you OC
 
it stresses both the CPU and the RAM...

prime95 is a very tough on your machine....it will critcally test it...also if it reports errors then you have some degree of instability....it check the results your PC gives out against those which are known to be correct...
