I have been overclocking my dual core Opteron. It is now at 2.6GHz and running stable in Prime95. However, when I run the Small FFT Test, one core is "slower" than the other. Self-Test on one core is at the second round of 12K FFT length, but the other core is on the second iteration of the 10K FFT test. No errors have been reported on either core. However, the tests were started seconds apart. What gives?

EDIT: I also noticed that the "weird" test is only running two tests before moving on, where the other core runs four tests before moving on.

EDIT AGAIN: Both cores Primed for two hours without issue even though I also burned CDs (slower than usual), scanned for viruses and swept for spyware while Prime was running (on both cores).

one core gets interrupted by system processes wanting cycles, thus doesn't get quite as much work done. it's completely normal, don't worry about it

OK, but that's weird as it doesn't appear in the Custom test where I use 820MB per core... Both CPUs get the same number of task done there. Thanks!
