Simple question - I'm running the P4D chip in my sig and am starting to do some more overclocking. I am using the latest version 25.5.1.0 of Prime. It is showing 4 threads running - 1 for each core and one for each hyperthreading thread. Is this correct? Just checking to be sure that I am setting it up correctly. Thanks!

Yeah, you're going to want a thread for each physical core and a thread for each HT core. This will ensure maximum CPU utilization, even if it doesn't actually move through the data any faster.

Brings me back to the days of my 3.2 Northie running dual prime...

Thanks for replying! I didn't think any one was going to. Yeah , this is the most outdated piece of equipment I have. I just haven't decided to bite the bullet and move to C2D. In lieu of this , I'm going to see what I can squeeze out of it. Supposedly these D955EE are beasts! I saw one that was clocked to around 5.6GHZ but it was cooled with liquid nitrogen to -96*C and the guy wasn't able to keep it there. 25 minutes into prime and it had rose 20*C and was at -76*C and climbing! Well , thanks again for replying.;)
