Overclocking an i7 920 to 3800mhz. How should I run prime95 and for how long?

Anything else I should test the overclock with?

Thanks! :)

I usually run small fft for a few hours as I find its quick to find cpu errors. Then I run blend with max ram for 12hrs or so to get the ram into the mix. Then just run some games that may be taxing your system and if you don't crash or blue screen, you should be good to go.

I usually use IBT for about 10-20 passes for CPU stability and then prime95 large FFT(the second test right under small fft) for overall stability. That always seems to find the problems not related directly to the CPU.

I normally start with Memtest86 for 9+ hours to test memory stability and then use Prime95 blend for over 12 hours to test CPU stability. Good luck.
