Im looking to buy a 2405,and really dont have the money to buy it at the current price. If by some stroke of luck I could get it for under 7 bills I'd be all over it. I know the prices on this stuff are continually coming down, but does anyone expect that this monitor could be under that price by the end of the year / holidays?

Highly unlikely given the fact that people are shelling out the $1200 for one left and right with no stopping in site. I spent 4 hours and numerous Dell salesman before I got a nice lady to tell me one for $850. Can't wait!!!

So its pretty much these options

1. Wait for a good loooong time
2. Get to work and start playing haggering salesmen
3. Get a different monitor
4. Start saving

got mine for $625, people have been able to get them for $550. its all about waiting for a coupon and calling up the opposite department.

Just gotta sit back and relax a little while longer. The next batch of Dell LCD coupons shouldn't be too far off now that school is starting up again (college, etc.).

Give it another week or two. :p

With the right coupons, reps, and stroke of luck - I got my 2405 for $650 two weeks ago.

NIIIICE!

Wait for it and jump on it.

I waited 4 months to get mine.

Okay, How you do it. I want to know. Plz tell me your secret. Don't leave out any details. Because I thought the lowest they can go for is about in the lower 800.
