As title,
I would like to have all the possible information I can get on the software used by prad.de to create this graph.

What are the reference hardware/software used to show dE for every colour?
How do you get the black value, contrast, brightness, white point?
Is this something that we can download by paying?

The closest thing you could get is the UDACT offered by the ugra (link). We cannot publish our software - it's already not possible because of the utilized SDK which is not public. iColor display implements a licensed version of the UDACT that you can only run directly after calibration/ profilation. A simple profile validation is also included (measures a limited number of samples against transformations of the current display profile) - what is true for virtual all calibration software.

The graph you are showing is quite old. However: We're measuring against different aims excluding/ including CMM transformations.

Best regards

thanks Denis.
Nothing important, is just for curiosity, but thanks for giving me that link.

What are the information that Quato iColor Display software gives?
I know it gives a little brightness, contrast, white point, can you confirm?

do you know if it gives also some information regarding the black point and the dE?

Have a look at a UDACT report (example). We'll explain it in detail in an upcomming feature.

However: When speaking of "the dE" it gets difficult because there is not *the* dE. Apart from having different formulas (which account for perceptual uniformity issues of Lab) you must know what you are measuring and what you want to express through this. A profile validation measures against the actual display profile to ensure that your calibration aims have been reached. It gives hints regarding linearity, neutrality and stability. The UDACT includes for example such a simple validation (+ an extensive test of the achromatic achsis regarding gradation and neutrality) but measures also the ugra/ fogra media wedge under consideration of the display profile (we are using working color spaces in a similar way).

Best regards

Denis
