poweroff multiple displays

I wonder if there is any way to have multiple displays be turned off in windows 7?

when I go into power settings it is 10minutes but the displays never turn off.

the displays should turn off (e.g. go into standby) from the win7 software setting (10min idle, for example).

however, you can also buy a smart power strip (check amazon.com) and then when you turn off power to one monitor it will auto turn off power to your 2nd monitor (and other devices, if you wish)....
