Hi, i want to power a pentium 2 motherbaord, so i took a 20pins psu and connected to the board but when i start it i hear a buzz. whats wrong?
i tested it with:
4 processor
2 psu
3 diff rams

and the board is supposed to be working.

Ok, can you give some details on the motherboard and the power supplies? Also, is the buzzing coming from the mobo or the PSU?

comes from the psu, the motherbaord is a Dell, couldnt find any information about it.

I thought old dell mobo's had non standard pinouts for the power connections
