PowerColor

I bought powercolor before i heard anyone talking that it wasnt

I can tell you i love it. The card clocks great(see sig) fully stock. So i would say go for it.

Also i guess it has a little bit higher mem speeds that normal 9800pro series?

no problems here with my 9700 pro. if ur gettin a good deal then u might aswell go for it.

I've had trouble with Powercolor cards before, I look at this as bad luck and not bad product. They have an excellent Support dept and they'll do what ever they can to make it right.

When I bought their nVidia cards before, they were low quality crap.

I'm not sure if they've redeemed themselves, but I certainly wont buy from them again-- very low quality.

It also really bothers me when theres a lot of Engrish on the box. If you're going to produce a box for a product to be marketed where English is the official language and you're not too sure about your own english skills, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE, DONT MAKE YOUR PRODUCT LOOK LIKE CRAP.

My Powercolor 9800 Pro did 480/380 artifact free. The ram would do 410Mhz+ in a full run of 3dmark2001, but it would artifact so badly it looked like Temptest. Perhaps if I had done a vmod it would have helped. I didnt though, just kept it at 380Mhz.
