I got a new hard drive enclosure kit, but the power cord that comes with it is very short. Then I noticed that the longer power cord from my old enclosure kit has had same plug for the case. I was wondering if I can use my old power cord with my new enclosure. I tried it out for a few minutes, and it seemed to work but I noticed some spec differences on the two units:
This is what is written on the power supply of the new one:
Input:
100-240V
1.0A
56-60Hz
Output:
12.0V---2000mA
And this is what is written on the old one:
Input:
100-240Vac
0.65A
47-63Hz
Output:
12Vdc---2A
Will it be alright?
