When I push the power button on my case the system starts for a only a second and shuts off. I switch the power supply button to off and turn it back to the on position and wait for about 10 seconds and it starts up fine. After being on I have restarted and it's ok. Could my cable hookup be a cause? I have a E660 Core 2, Asus P5H DH DL, Corsair XMS 2(2gb), WD 74 gb raptor, ATI x1900xt, Antec Nine Hundred case with Antec 550 watt Ne.

When you shut down your system, do you do anything that would disconnect the PSU from the AC power grid.

or your power supply's capicity not enough?
and your power on swicth on case aging?(can't back to original position)

Mine is doing the same thing. If I turn my computer off it will take about 5-10mins for it to be able to come on. The light on the case will just go on and off, but the thing that worries me is that it seems like everything is getting power during that one second because the fans spin and the lights on my keyboard flash. The time it takes to come on gets longer the longer I keep the powersupply switch off. So when I went to a lan party a couple nights ago and sat there for an hour without any luck. I went home plugged it all in and went to bed, the next morning it came up.

I am going to be calling Antec later today and will hopefully get a replacement.

I installed the Thermaltake Toughpower W0116 in a computer having as mobo DFI Lanparty NF3 Ultra with AMD Athlon 64-X2 4400.I pree start button, for 1/2 sec fans start and stop. This computer works 100% wth the Thermaltake W0010 PSU.I put the Thermatake Toughpower PSU in a computer having as mobo Iwill XP333 mobo, here the computer start and works OK.
I put the Thermaltake Toughpower PSU in a computer with Asus K8V SE deluxe as mobo ans AMD 64 bit 3400 CPU.Here everything starts, after 1/2 minute the built in voice comes on "CPU TEST FAILED".I press start button to switch off, press again ,same .I do this 3,4 times and then everything starts OK.I tried same by switching off computer but leaving mains connected or switching mains off, made no difference.DFI indicated,it could have to do with minimum current loading needed to start.I did connect extra resistor added on the 12 volt rail, made no difference.Note here also that this computer was working OK with the Thermaltake Silent Purepower 480 watt W0010.I believe it has something to do with the delay the psu has to provide before full juice is applied to the mobo.Thermaltake Sydney now did send an email to Thermaltake Taiwan for advice.
Is there anybody who had similar problems.Note there is absolutely nothing wrong with the computers as they all work OK with the different Thermaltake PSUs.
