Power DVD 7 Error

So I was out of town for a week and had some Netflix movies waiting for me when I got home. I popped one in and opened Power DVD 7(Cant upgrad to 8 because of HD DVD support). It gave me an error "UNSUPPORTED DISC FORMAT IN DRIVE G:" I thought it was just the disc but I started putting in discs that I have watched many times before and got the same error. The last time I used my computer I watched a blu ray and it had been shut off since then.. Any ideas?
