This n00b frog needs help with setting up his H badge in the sig. Can anyone help me?

They don't go in your actual sig..... just put them at the end of your post... of course, there's a bookmark you can make that'll post the badge and automatically post your message also....

How does this work? Is it a FF thing or an IE thing?

It works quite well in either. Just highlight and drag the other set of code labeled "Use this to create a bookmark" underneath of your stats page up into the links or bookmarks toolbar. Then when you click on it, it will add your badge and submit your post.

In firefox it will look something like

%5bH%5dardbutton.gif

When I make a post and I am done I hit the [H] and it hits the submit for me along with adding my stats stuff

Just make new bookmark and copy/paste your stuff from hardfolding.com on your member page.

Ok, smartasses, I guess I should have been more to the point. :D

I wasn't asking how well it works in FF or Opera, I wanted a how-to-set-it-up in FF.

Pleaseandthankyou.

Works in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

1) Create a bookmark.
2) Copy the bookmark code at the bottom of your personal stats page on [H]ard|Folding.
3) Paste that code as the bookmark's address.

In Firefox

GoTo www.Hardfolding.com and find yourself(This is you DevilDoc)

Scrool to Bottem of page untill you see "Or use this code to create a bookmark(1 button badge insert)" and copy and paste the code. It starts with "javascript:document" ends with "halt" copy it

Now

GoTo Tools>Manage bookmarks

click the + button next to "Bookmarks Toolbar"

The click "New Bookmark" (make sure it is under bookmarks toolbar part)

Name it what ever pleases you.

Then paste what you copied before in "location" then hit ok and close Bookmarks Manager.

And you done now go test it.

Or you could just highlight it, and drag it up to the toolbar. ;)

I didn't know that...

Yeah, I didn't either until I did it by accident once. It doesn't always work in IE, but FF works great.

Well bend me over, after a year I can finally do it...

Well, no thanks on the invite Mary, but you might want to just post it once! :D Maybe K* or Moose is up for a little action.

Even if we wanted to bend him over, first we would need a couple trucks to haul his girlfriend off him first :p
