post your PpD screenies

Moar D = Another screenie! I just added an 8800GT that has been sitting on the shelf for awhile because it had been EUE'ing constantly in the past. I decided to give it another try so I underclocked it a bit and it completed a WU just fine. I don't know if it's the new core versions that have corrected this problem I was having or my underclocking. I'm going to leave it underclocked for a couple WUs and then put it back to stock speeds and try again.

I'm still waiting for HFM to update the PPD for my second -bigadv box so that it shows the bonus.

How did you get so lucky to get stuck with three 1888's?
He's actually not as lucky as you might think. IME, these 1888's are a lot more chewy than the 353's and even the 787's. I'd rather chew 353's all day than to get an occasional 1888 thrown in the mix. My effective PpD drops a few hundred points when an 1888 is downloaded. Now, this could be because I have only 96 and 112 SP cards, but I'd much rather have only 353's. :D However, it is all for science in the end, right?

the 1888 WU's seem to be on a pattern.. about every 3 days they send out a ton of 1888 pointers.. and then you wont see a single one after that day til the next batch.. or at least thats what it seems like for me..

no problem Tobit.. i just overclocked my card so you should be seeing another 8000-8500 PPD..

Ya, I've had 8 at one time once, great way to get nervous when you don't see points fir a few updates

ouch :( look at the failed column, is your overclock stable or its HFM messing up?
Search for UNSTABLE_MACHINE and EARLY_UNIT_END in the log file.

It is heat. There isn't much I can do about it. They always fail within seconds, so no real loss of PpD.

Heres my image from FahSpy.

Add around another 6x12k PpD for the bigadv bonuses.

Luck ............ :D

It's overclocked to 3.8GHz and I'm running a VM across four cores.

Im pushing a single VM across 4 cores as well, just not clocked that high, at 3.2ghz right now.

You should still be doing more than 2.7k easily. I'm doing over 4k PPD on a Q6600 I have clocked at 3GHz in another box.

My Q6600's where doing ~4.5-4.8k PpD @3.1Ghz running a VM across all 4 cores before I shut them down.

Luck ......... :D

Cpu only client. Wife was thinking that the F@H was slowing the computer down, so I put it to 7/8. :D
