Possible to hide threads from certain users?

Hi, I sometimes visit the Free Stuff section but lately I noticed a user is mass posting about shit freebies I really don't care about.

It's becoming very hard to ignore because he fills pages and pages with threads.

I tried adding him to my ignore list but his threads still show. Anything I can do about it?

I would recommend logging out, clear everything and logging back in. Sometimes changes won't take effect until you do. I edited your question to remove the poster's username since he is breaking no forum rules.
 
Nope =/ Did a reset in Safari just now and logged out and in. His threads are still showing, just when I click them it says this message is hidden because I have him ignored. But threads are all still up :(
