Ok so I got my new Westinghouse LVM-37w3 on wednesday. Everything went smoothly, 360 looked great, no dead pixels, but when I plugged in my computer via DVI I got "no signal." Couple hours of trying sh*t went by, tried other cables, restarted everything 20 times, tried other computers, etc, I eventually got the RMA process going. The only thing I could figure out was that Nview was detecting the LVM-37w3 as an analog display (WTF?). Fast forward to yesterday, I spend about 7 hours on the net searching for other people with similar problems. I know there are several people in the HUGE LVM-37w3 threads here at the [H] that have similar problems with DVI on it, and I eventually found a solution:

In my case my computer(s) were detecting the Westy as analog via the DVI port because thats what the EDID was programmed with, and obviously an analog signal won't work over the DVI-D cable. The instructions on that site tell you how to read, modify, and flash your EDID with any changes you need to make. This solution can also be used to fix most any other brand/model of digital monitors with similar problems, such as if the native resolution is not detected correctly.
I'm posting this here because when I was researching the problem yesterday I found probably a dozen other people on various forums with the exact problem but no solution. Maybe the utilities at that site can also be used to fix the VX2025 scaling issues?
Edit: One other thing, that instructions on that site assume u can get a signal on the fautly monitor. In my case I used a program called softMCCS to read and save the EDID while the Westy was hooked up as a secondary. Then when I got ready to flash it I hot plugged the DVI cable from the primary working monitor to the Westy and it worked in DOS long enough to run the flasher.
