Ok, so my computer has been randomly turning off lately. I'm suspecting a faulty power supply. I have a Coolmax 400w (370 available) powering this:

K8N Neo 2 Platinum
AMD64 3000+
2gig (4x512) Corsair XMS DDR400
256mb eVGA 6800gt
2x 80Gb WD (Raid-0)
1x 120Gb WD
1x 40Gb WD

NEC DVD R/RW DL
SB Audigy 2zs Pro Plat.

Is my 400w PSU sufficient for what I have or should i look to up it to maybe 550 or 600w?

A good name brand psu at 400-500w is sufficient. Which model depends on what features are important to you and our budget.
