I need your help to see if this actually works. Not sure if it's online or not (pretty sure you can google it...I guess) but here is something that I notice when OC your Ram when you want Either 1:1, 2:3 or 3:4
Here is something interesting I found out. I am sure all of you know this but someone out there may not know and this is helpful. There is a formula when determing your 1:1, 2:3, 3:4 and 4:5 ratios. I know it works for 1:1, 2:3 and 3:4 but not sure about 4:5 ratios. Here is the formula using P5WD2-E Prem with Intel 660 @ 3.6:
Ratio=FSB/Ratio numerator (x) Ratio denominator (x) 2= DRAM Frequency. This seems to work best when the last digit in the FSB (CPU Frequency) is an even number (0,2,4,6,8).
Example of 1:1 Ratio 250 FSB (CPU Frequency)
1:1=250/1 = 250x1 = 250x2 = 500 Mem Frequency (I use this at x18 Multi)
Example of 2:3 Ratio 250 FSB (CPU Frequency)
2:3=250/2 = 125x3 = 375x2 = 750 Mem Frequency (I use 2:3 @ x14 Multi)
Example of 3:4 Ratio at 250 FSB (CPU Frequency)
3:4=250/3 = 83x4 = 332x2 = 664 Mem Frequency (not sure which multi this is best for)
