My bro has the above and has been getting random reboots / windows error's pointing towards the ATi drivers. Eventualy unable to get into windows.Have been round there 2nite and got a format on it.

When I begin to load XP the 1st boot to CD will get display corruption and lockup before it's loaded the basic boot files :(

He has a cheap name 550W PSU which has been running it fine for over 6 months so i just had ROM/HD/GFX plugged in with the radeon on its own cable and still had the same problem...

Reckon it's fried meself but need to make sure, any suggestions...

gonna try my gfx in his (GF2 :D) and his in mine

dont have a spare good qual PSU lyin about so is it posible to run the VGA off a seperate PSU to rule out the PSU?

Also if I get it to work some help with driver recommendations would be appreciated
 
Try having him use a older driver. Or use the new beta drivers.
