So it's safe to say that the pump itself can handle the 150psi, but the plastic housing would break/leak/etc. Moving to a metal housing would bring the pressure rating back up, provided that the barbs are screwed in good enough. The pump curves would definately be influenced by the housing design though. I'd like to see a review/test of this pump, for curiosity's sake.
Either way, if you have enough restriction in your loop to break the plastic housing then you probably have some other issues to tend with...
