Pocket Camera Advice needed...

[lordroy]

I have a friend looking for a digital camera with the following MUST haves:

Storage Media: SD/SDHC Memory Card
Power: AA- or AAA- Battery
Interface: USB
Price: Under $150

Anything else is just gravy, I am sure something in the 5-8 megapixel range is fine. While looking around myself I found:

Cannon Powershot A590

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/c...TechSpecsTabAct&fcategoryid=183&modelid=16336

Which looks like what might fit the bill... but I know nothing about digital cameras.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanx
