k..this started about 2 days ago...first off i couldnt get onto the net or open certain things(norton for instance..it would open for about 30 seconds then just close) on my comp...then this remote procedure something comes up and tells me my computer is shuting down in 1 minute..happens ALL THE TIME..k i reformatted twice yesterday and once today and the viruses still wont go away....just 2 minutes ago i finished reformating..went right to d/l a virus scanner and it found and "deleted" 7 things :| isnt reformatting supposed to wipe the harddrive clean? does anyone know what i can do!?!?! :confused: and i know i need a router but i just quit my job and dont have the money right now

edit - forgot to mention im on xp..currently attempting to d/l windows update..also its a pirated version.....:(
 
Viruses are not hardware related, wrong forum.
