I have a soyo Kt600 ultra platinum motherboard. I just recently built this computer and I was borrowing a friends 512 stick of PC 2700 Crucial memory. I took out his ram ( the exact same ram ) and put in my ram and now the video doesn't work and I can't get into the BIOS or anything.



what should I do ?
 
reset the bios with the reset jumper on the motherboard..

if that doesn't work.. unplug unnecessary components starting with cd roms, hard drives, then start pulling sound card, nics, all that stuff.. until you get it to post..

if that doesn't work, try a different video card..

if none of that works... rebuild the comptuer outside of your case.. use just the power supply, memory, and video card.. this should get it working.. then keep adding things back until it stops working again...


but you probably just need to reset the bios.. there is a jumper on the motherboard somewhere..
