My system is in my sig.

Given my board, the 32, my case, the X-Navigator, and a $250 budget, what is the coolest air cooling solution I can afford.

I don't mind removing the motherboard to install a new CPU cooler. I like the look of the Zalman 9500, but is that the coolest available? I expect some to suggest the ninja, but will my rig support it? It may be too big for my taste.

I also want to upgrade my GPUs. What ever happened to the Zalman vf900? Is that out yet? Can I afford to upgrade all three: CPU, GPU1, and GPU2?

They are two weeks old. Send me a PM if your interested.

Zalmans aren't the best money can buy.

Go with a Scythe Ninja, or if you can find one, a Tuniq Tower.

I actually have the same case you have and am currently going replacing all the fans in it because the stock aspire fans are LOUD as **** and the LEDs are annoying. Replacing with panaflo's in hopes of a quieter, less tacky looking case :D

My vote is in for the Ninja. It may be big, but it has some of the best cooling performance and is lighter than an xp90c.

Its also damn cheap from that link :)

As for vid card, you've really got two choices: arctic-cooling (either acellero or silencer) or the vf700. I read some post somewhere in the vid card forums that the vf900 is due out by the end of the month, so I suppose it'd be worth the wait to see.

You shouldn' have any issue upgrading the cooling on all three, probably for around $100-120 total.

EDIT: Just found a review of the VF900. Appears it is worth the wait.

Ok, will wait for the vf900.

Sith, do you use the ninja?

Maybe I will follow your lead with new fans, becuase they are loud.

Edit: Since you have the same case, don't you agree that the side and rear fans should be reversed with the ninja? Possibly just one of the rear fans, but definatly the side, to increase cooling.

I personally use the XP-90C (which is a shame because I didn't know the Ninja is much better when I bought it).

As for the fans, I'm not sure about how they should be setup for the ninja. From what I remember, by default the rear and top fans are exhausts, and the side and front fans are intakes. I believe when I install my panaflos I'll make the top fan an intake as well so I'll have 3 intakes and 1 exhaust.

If anyone could link me to a quality guide for installing the Scythe Ninja, I would appreciate it.
