90% of the time i can turn my computer on and do whatever..

now sometimes itll suddenly freeze up...and i cant do nothing...i restart my computer and then it hangs on the screen "detecting array"

a quick fix for this is simply unplugging the sata wire to the mobo and plugging it back in.
turn back on my computer and it detects my hd and boots up normally..

any reasons for this?

Try swapping cables
If the problem still persists, check the power supplied to the drive
Search the Internet to see if other people are having similar issues with similar configurations
Look for updates to your RAID firmware that may resolve such issues
