I've heard of a few products that let you play your Xbox,PS2, Or GC on a computer monitor.. but I've only heard negative things about them.. has anyone ever tried this? or no of a good product that let's you do this? Thanks...
 
If your wanting to do so with an Xbox I would HIGHLY recommend an X2VGA. I have one myself and love it. Was abit skeptical at first and was worried about shipping time from Tokyo, but it arrived in a timely manner (something like 4 days) in perfect condition. Painless setup, took less then 5 minutes. Basically plugging it into the Xbox and the monitor. After that. Tell your Xbox you want to use HDTV resolutions and voila. Superb looking games for a fraction of the price of a full blown HDTV!

Its a great little unit. Only cost 65 bucks I believe. Well worth every penny.

I currently own this and I love it. Setting it up was a breeze, no problems at all. You can connect your PS2/XBox/GameCube, cable, and (of course!) your computer :)

The only thing I recommend though is don't connect your consoles through the normal cables that come with the console, use something similar to this: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=801341

My only complaint about the VEG is the audio output, the sound seems to be low quality(maybe it's my headphones I don' t know) like the bass is bad.

Other than that I am happy with the VEG.
