Pixel refresh program to un do burn in?

Just saw someone mention it and thought hmm, doesn't sound right but thought I'd throw it out here. Anyone use it on a badly burnt in screen? I have a 2001FP that has some burn in near the top edges and was wondering if I could fix it. I mean it's no biggy but was curious since someone who supposedly is in the know in the tech world had mentioned it.
 
You can try JScreenFix but I doubt it will fix it I have had 2 burn in on a computer monitor and on a tv and the only way to fix it is to change the entire panel. And I don't know about other companies but LG will NOT replace it as it is considered physical damage so it is not covered by the warranty.
