• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Pitne's Norco 4220 Setup

was a pita getting the IT firmware on the LSI-9211-8i... i had to find the oldest mobo (newer mobo's give error using sas2flsh) in my house to erase the firmware because it doesnt let you overwrite the stock IR firmware. Then make a dos boot usb disk with some hp software.

Please post these things in the correct sub-forums.

only problem with the setup is I cannot get into the sas management screen (or whatever its called). during boot, the LSI asks to press "control-c" to get into the management. I hit the key combination, and it says 'entering...' but it never enters the management.

Ive seen similar issues with other mobos. Wish i knew why this was happening
