can you pinmod a locked palomino? i'm think you can't but i'm wondering if anyone has tried this. i would but i need my computer operational for the next month at least;)

thanks.

i've never done it successfully. I read you're supposed to fill the small pits between the L1 bridges with something, and then connect the bridges. I taped off the bridge contacts on each side, filled the middle with clear nail polish, and got some "Rear Window Defogger Patch Kit" stuff and used a needle to very slowly and pain stakingly connect the small bridges. I still have not done it successfully. Its REALLY REALLY small!!

Good luck to you!

if you pin-mod it should override whatever setting the bridges are coded too....check this site for more info...

and i know...connecting the bridges is a PITA!!!!! i had to mod my L5 to run a 2100XP in my dually...i actually had to use the fat end of the pin cause the sharp point would dry up before i got the defogger stuff on the chip....i used new-skin to fill the pits...same thing as crazy glue/super glue pretty much....just what i had on hand...
