Hey guys, I have having a bitch of a time getting my mobo to post. I have troubleshooting everything, and now its PSU time. Is it normal for this pin to be missing? This is the mobo power connecter from my Hiper 580w supply. The board is a 680i

Edit: I notice there is not wire going to that spot as well, just making sure its supposed to be that way.

I think that might be a 5v pin that's missing, although this is just a guess. And, as far as i know, it isn't needed. Don't take my word, though.

I came across the pic on the net of the same PSU. From the looks of this pic, its normal (seems to be no wire going to it)...I guess. Anyone else got a guess?

That would be pin 18 of the ATX 20 pin connector which is -5vdc. Most motherboards since ISA fell out of favor have not required the -5vdc supply, so it's perfectly ok for that wire to be gone.

Yep.
Had me curious too. I plugged it in, and after looking over Corsair's webpage, I found that out.
