I know this card is OOOOLD, but I was looking at some old hardware and I finally realized my old Dell 6800gto's are actually quadros with a set of pipes and a vertex disabled. It just irks me that I have a quadro but it keeps reading as a geforce. I flashed a dell quadro bios and that didn't change it because the PCI Device ID is still the same. I took the heatsink off and the resistors on the actual 6800gto/quadro chip are the same as a reference quadro picture I found on the net. The change must be on the PCB. So......
I have Quadro Hardware, drivers, and I have a quadro bios, but somewhere on this PCB is a resistor (I'm assuming) thats stopping my computer from properly ID'ing this card. I could softmod it but I want a [H]ard mod. does anyone have a quadro fx 3400 board that they can take hi-res pics of the front and back (heatsink off preferably)? Google image search isn't being very helpful.
