Picking an mSATA SSD

I need to pick up an mSATA SSD for my laptop. Typically run office applications and 2 VMs at any given moment. I was looking at the new Crucial M550s and the Samsung Evo in the ~500GB capacity.

I am not concerned with price.​​

Which one is a better drive?
Should I consider a different alternative?
