My friend has a Philips crt with these connectors labeled HV, and RBG. (may be slightly diffrent, cant remember) The moniter also has the red/white RCA audio connectors. I am thinking the connectors are component and composite but they use some kind of specfic cord or something. Here is a picture of what they look like. Does anyone know where I could buy these cords? Thanks

The newegg logo is kind of in the way but it's the best pic i could find.

It is standard RGB with BNC connector, not really component. I have a Philips 202p4 connected to a secondary VGA source through this connectors.

Essentially you want a BNC to VGA (D-SUB) connector.

Effectively there is no difference from having dual VGA connectors.

Thanks, I have done a little searching and it sounds like I will just need some BNC to RCA adapter to hook up a xbox 360.

These are not really compatible. Xbox outputs both component and RGB. You need to feed the RGB into the BNC.

BNC on the monitor is 5 connector:

Red, Green, Blue, Horizontal Sync, Vertical Sync.

Component is 3 connector:

Y,cb, cr
This is luminance, color difference, color difference.

Which exact model?
Philips has monitors which can do:
Positive Vertical, Negative Vertical, Positve Horiz, Negative Horiz, Positve Vert+Horiz, Negative Vert+Horz, Sync on Green, Self-Generated Sync, and External Sync.
You will need to set it to Positive or Negative sync prior to selecting input when using RGBHV, if the monitor supports both methods.
