Phantom CD-ROM drive (Vista)

I have 4 HDDs in RIAD10 connected to SATA and one DVD-RW drive connected to IDE.

Recently i noticed that i also have another DVD drive (apparently SCSI with a long number). I certainly cant see it anywhere near my computer :p

Whats the problem and how do i solve it?
 
I do have daemn tools, but its obviously switched off :rolleyes:
 
Sounds like daemon tools OR some other software. I don't have my laptop handy but I know my tablet came with some virtual dvd program. I would check the device manager and see if it gives you any idea, also look at the installed software and see if any name pops out.
 
Here's another vote for daemon tools. Even with it "switched off" but still installed, I still show an extra drive. If you uninstall daemon tools the extra drive will not show anymore.


 
Alcohol 120% also has virtual drive capability built into it, so if you have that installed, that may be where it's coming from
