Im running my system in an Antec ninehundred case, and have a scythe 2000 cooler on it (BIG S.O.B) I have a Phenom II 945 Black edition processor (quad core cpu, normally clocked at 3 ghz) Oc'd, to 3.65 ghz just on a simple multiplier/clock change, i didnt touch the voltage. Im running 8gb of ddr 800 ocz-sli ram (not the newest memory). a ASUS M4A79 motherboard. Audigy 2 sound system, turtle beach 5.1 headset, Geforce 295 (love the card runs crysis 2 on highest, looks sexy)

Heres the thing.. i only scored 5.7 on the windows experience thing. which i KNOW my system is faster than my brothers sony.. POS desktop, but he scored higher.

I decided to jump onboard the new SSD trend. nearly fainted when i saw the prices... but, I used my income tax return, bought myself a 160 Gb OCZ-Agility 2 ssd.

*W.O.W*.. windows 7 boots now, from cold start to a finished desktop and no disk activity, with all side programs done, in 37 seconds, and can cold load Word 2007 in a half second.

My Windows experience thing went up to 7.4.

Should I be concerned pushing it any higher? my processor scores 7.7, Ram scores 7.6, graphics score 7.6, gaming graphics 7.6, Primary hard disk 7.4..

Is that a score that youguys would be satisfied with? my system is pushing 2 23" full HD 1080p displays, 1 is a 120hz asus monitor with the nvidia 3d vision kit (awesome).

Is this a system that you guys would be satisfied with performance wise? or should something be changed/tweaked.. Perhaps a Higher OC?

ssd is my boot drive. only windows , office, 3d studio and adobe suite is on that disk, ive got my 1tb internal drive, that i put my games on, and also a archive partition.. 4 external hard drives, 2x 1tb, 2x2tb

Don't rely upon the Windows Experience Index to determine performance. I would be more concerned with actual application performance than anything else (non-synthetic or otherwise depending upon what you want). The problem with WEI is that it can change at each boot and doesn't exactly give an accurate representation.

When I got a new Vertex 2 160GB and tested WEI, I got a score of 7.7. After one month it went down to 7.6. Now, my SSD score is at 7.5 after 3 months.
