Perc 6i management utility?

was wondering what are you using to manage a PERC 6i card win win7?

The firmware, I never really use any of adaptec or dell's software that comes with the PERC cards. Normally all of the settings are within the firmware anyways and should be managed from within the card, imo.

Have you tried using the LSI management software? Megaraid Storage Manager

And there are a lot of things that aren't configurable in the PERC 6i's BIOS that the software can adjust.

Yeah thanks, the LSI Storage Manager worked.

Now i need to try to get rid of the battery not connected message, even though i have one connected.

Maybe the battery has lost it's integrity, it's worth checking if you haven't already.
