PERC 3/DC Array Managment

I have a Dell PERC 3/DC array controller. It currently has 2 logical arrays; 1 raid5 and 1 raid1. I would like to remove the drives out of of the raid1 array and build a new array with them and another drive in a raid5 array. I am using this under linux, so I have to do this through the controller bios controller and not any system level software. I tried doing something similiar a bit ago and things went bad. I could not figure out how to do it and i ended selecting the clear configuration option, but that wipe both arrays. Anyone have any tips on how to clear one array without clearing all?

Older PERC Setup BIOS' are confusing as hell.
I'd look for the documentation on Dell's site.
