My Centrino M has recently decided to run at a max of 1.5ghz instead of 2ghz for absolutely no reason. How can I fix this?? It only runs @ 1.5ghz when windows starts up

no, it has nothing to do with the power profiles - its set on max performance regardless of battery/ac power. it WAS running at 2ghz until i restarted at which point it was only 1.5
