I have intel Pentium D 915* 2.8 GHz with 2*2 MB Cache. If someone has the same model, can please tell me how much is the maximum OC that this processor supports??

it depends on the revision, the week it was manufacturered, your motherboard, your ram, your cooling system. About anything that has to do with the CPU will determine what your max OC is. I'm guessing around 4Ghz? But that's assuming that you have good RAM and a good overclocking motherboard. \
The voltage max I'd set on that thing is about 1.45V if your power supply is a little sketchy or your motherboard VRM sucks. 1.5V if your comp can hold steady voltages, but no more than 1.5V. Watch your temperatures and keep them under 68C full load, as that's intel's heat threshold, and you start throttling from there.

OK I have 1GB DDR-2 RAM and my Motherboard is Intel 945GNT. I am using heat sink which is shipped with the processor only, and my SMPS is 500 watts

intel boards dont overclock, so you're out of luck, sorry.

except the high end motherboards, but this one will probably not overclock at all.BTW, manufacturer of the RAM, the speed of the RAM (ddr2 - 667/800/1000, etc...), and stability of the power supply (which can only be found by using software like speedfan or watching the voltage in the bios) are what you'd need to know to overclock too. DDR2 isn't a very specific description.
Anyway... that Intel board is pretty much doomed. You can try to get the bios editor off intel's site and see what you can do, but I doubt you'll get anywhere unless you have the 955X board or the 975XBXLKR.
