Pentium D 940 Temps?

Is it normal for a Pentium D 940 to run around 21c on stock air cooling or is something wrong with the temp. sensor?
 
I think you may have a very good cpu there , flog it on ebay for a million dollars.

I have an overclocked cpu 930 and its running at 27c and on load its 38c , it might be right or probably off a litttle.also remember that the 940 has a greater multiplier .

Whats it like on load? if its 30c i think you are on a winner cpu.

I correct myself. It's running at a cool 35C.... not that anyone asked... or cared

The CPU will throttle itself down when idle. The multilplier changes on mine from 16 to 12 when at idle. I didn't know this and freaked out when I saw the multiplier and speed I was running at. As soon as you need the power, it ramps back up to the normal rate.
