Hello.

What is the compatibility of this CPU. Will it work on all support LGA775 boards or only those with a particular chipset?
 
It must be an LGA775 board with a compatible BIOS. Nothing more.
 
Doesn't it have to be a motherboard with a 915/925 or higher? There are a few LGA775 motherboards out there with the 865 chipset, IIRC. Also IIRC, none of these boards work with the 6x0 series...

Actually Abit's site has the AS8 listed as being compatible with a BIOS update.
